Excise Duty Suspension
Excise duty suspension is the storage of excisable goods in a tax, or bonded, warehouse. Goods are stored without paying the national excise duties to the Treasury until release.
This improves cash flow and can save duties being paid twice or having to be reclaimed from HMRC to the EU or export them to third countries. Movements throughout the EU are tracked by the relevant tax authorities and Langdon’ DMS interfaces with the EU’s EMCS system, making declarations and receipting goods seamlessly on your behalf.
