The Challenge

In October 2022, SEKO Logistics initiated a competitive RFP process to identify a new partner for managing duty and customs warehousing operations. Langdon was selected as SEKO’s new duty management provider, replacing an incumbent supplier. 

The decision was driven by SEKO’s need for a more agile, responsive and integrated solution that could scale with their evolving business requirements.

 

Building the Solution

Langdon implemented its Duty Management System (DMS) across SEKO’s multiple customs warehousing operations, ensuring seamless integration with SEKO’s existing processes. 

Since onboarding, Langdon has supported SEKO in expanding its customs capabilities, enabling the successful onboarding of five additional customs clients across diverse sectors, including retail, e-commerce and defence.

Recognising the value delivered by Langdon’s DMS, SEKO is now in the process of implementing DMS Excise within its Milton Keynes operation. This expansion reflects SEKO’s confidence in Langdon’s ability to deliver robust, compliant and scalable solutions for both customs and excise warehousing.In addition to duty management, SEKO also entrusts Langdon’s Customs Bureau with key contracts, further strengthening the partnership and demonstrating the breadth of Langdon’s expertise.
