PROFESSIONAL INSIGHTS:
1) Can you tell us a bit about your role at Langdon and what a typical day looks like for you?
There is no typical day, I cover so many different roles, not just overseeing the infrastructure, but also covering Health and Safety, Facilities, Data Protection and Security as well as Certification. It’s an extremely varied role, and I enjoy it.
2) What drew you to the Customs and Excise Solutions industry?
I was working with the parent company when I saw the opportunity to move over to Langdon. I could see the enormous potential plus the team we already had were fantastic, so it was a no brainer.
3) What is the most challenging aspect of your job and how do you overcome it?
Living a fair distance from the office, it can be difficult to form relationships with the team, so I go into the office twice a week and work from home the other three days, and this works well.
4) How do you stay updated with the ever-changing regulations in customs and excise?
I’m happy to say we have a number of experts in the team that do a fantastic job, are always on the ball and are at the forefront of any changes.

You can’t beat a good track day. (hence my pic)
